I thought there would be less walking now I live in LA, but it turns out I still need comfortable shoes in this city just as much as I did in London. I spent my first few weeks here struggling to find the right shoe style. Jandals (Kiwi for flipflops) or sandals are perfect for around the house and at the beach, but not smart enough for restaurants. But I can’t walk along the beach or the Venice canals in my high heels to get to the restaurant…

I’ve recently been collaborating with an amazing shoe brand called UKIES, who have a perfect solution for me. They use Nanogel technology to make their shoes extra comfortable, so I can actually walk for over an hour in these Blue Tango sandals without any pain. I’m also still wearing sandals in October, with no tights, which would be unheard of in London.
