During London Fashion Week I had my make-up done by Maybelline. Maybelline has taken over from MAC as the official make-up sponsor, and being a big MAC fan I must say I was wary

. I’m sure by now most of you will have seen a million perfect looks on Instagram, twitter and blogs from LFW, but that’s not the reality! I’m not a Maybelline hater, the results were nice, I opted for a bright fun lip colour, which looked great on the day. BUT evidentially it did not photograph well, I’ve included a close up of the strange lip liner colour differentiation which has come through in the photograph. I can assure you this is only visible in the photograph, in real life I was not walking around Fashion Week with a lip liner moustache! This is a good example of how make-up can photograph differently to how it looks in reality (the perfect excuse for mirror selfies). A top tip I’ve discovered  is that SPF foundations photograph terribly, it’s worth getting one daytime and one night time foundation, the SPF is important for  sun protection and anti ageing, but in the evening it’s a flash camera’s worst enemy.
