BEAUTY: Lush Cupcake

For my birthday I was given an amazing Lush Peppermint Chocolate face mask which smells exactly like cupcake frosting. For months I had been visiting Lush and sniffing the display pot to the point where I had brown face mask on the tip of my nose and was walking around Westfield oblivious. It’s very hard to use, but only because you must have extremely good willpower to resist trying to lick your own face. The mask itself actually has “linseed infusion to nourish and soften the skin, fresh mint for toning, cocoa butter to moisturise and rhassoul mud to absorb grease and give a deep cleanse” according to Lush’s ethos of all natural ingredients. It takes about five minutes and is designed for oily or acne prone skin. I found it very soothing, it left my pores looking smaller and feeling tighter, although it was very messy to remove. The product was a lovely girlie gift and would be perfect for teenage daughters (clueless dad’s with teenagers take note). It’s only downside is a short expiry date, but knowing I’m not putting too many chemicals on my face compensates for this, as of course does the smell. Mmmmmmmmm cupcakes.
