A few weeks ago I visited a special evening event at Jo Malone Selfridges to indulge new products from their new range. In stark contrast to the usual Jo Molone minimalism, this range was eclectic vibrant and floral. Hand printed boxes covered in fruits and flowers are intertwined with old tin cans, paint brushes, street art prints – even the odd post it! It’s all be done in collaboration with Calm and Collected who have created one-of-a-kind boxes for five of Jo Malone’s most beloved scents; English Pear & Freesia, Pomegranate Noir, Lime Basil & Mandarin, Early Grey & Cucumber and Peony & Blush Suede. I must say it reflects the Jo Malone fragrances perfectly, a move away from classic English style to a representation that’s a more contemporary of London culture. Oh, and they smell lovely aswell….
