What to pack for Glastonbury
It’s just three more sleeps to Glastonbury 2015 so I’m getting myself organised for four days of festival fun – and of course the unpredictable weather! Luckily I’m glamping at Worthy View so I don’t need to carry my tent, but nonetheless my backpack is pretty heavy with a sleeping roll, air mattress, sleeping bag etc. That doesn’t leave much room for clothes, especially not when you need to prepare for sunny days, knee deep mud and potential downpours. He’s some insight into what I’m packing for this year:
I’ve picked up lots of cheap buys at Primark that I don’t care if they get ruined, I’ve combined that with some fun festival accessories and of course the beauty essentials for a world with no showers.Being fair skinned (hence the Fake Bake tan) I’m prepared with cover-ups and sunscreen, and of course my trusty hat and sunnies.
In this image from top left across: Khaki leather skirt, Zara / ASOS Metal Daisy Hair Crown – Gold, ASOS / Black flower necklace, New Look / Black rose headband, Primark / Black tassel kimono, Primark / Bikini top, ASOS / Bag – a gift from Nepal / Khaki knit crop top, Primark / Boots, Primark / Fake Bake fake tan / Soltan sunscreen / Denim hot pants, New Look / Tissues / Dunlop wellington boots, Sports Direct / Black wellington socks, Primark / Grey wellington socks, Sports Direct / Sunglasses, Primark / Batiste dry shampoo / Ginvera BB Cream / Gold temporary tattoos, Primark / Hat, H&M / Tassel earrings, Primark / Woven belt, Primark / Bag, vintage / Khaki waxed parka, Oasis via ASOS.
And what you don’t see but that I would recommend:
- Berocca
- hand sanitiser
- baby wipes
- paracetamol
- ear plugs
- a camera
- cash
- and of course, good friends!
