I recently tried a new Nails Inc colour ‘George Street’ which is a light colour somewhere in-between mauve and beige. I used this with Sally Hansen ‘Complete Care’ which was also a first time try. The results were disappointing, I’m unsure which of the products are to blame until I try them separately. I held a bias against George Street to begin with as I found the colour quite wishy washy and prefer Nail’s Inc’s true beige tones, or colours with more pop. The consistency is quite thick, I would recommend just one coat. George Street showed marks easily and after just one tube ride and a day in the office I had newspaper ink smudges (thanks Metro) and ink marks that wouldn’t come off and showed terribly. This is not a practical city colour! Perhaps because of the Sally Hansen base coat the polish chipped and peeled really easily and my nails lasted less than three days. In the busy Christmas season who has time to be doing their nails two or three times a week!?
This color is gorgeous!
