Inspired by my recent visit to Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore! at Somerset House I’ve fallen in love with hats. I can’t wait for race season to be upon us and the wind to be banished so I can wear some glorious hats and headpieces in the summer.

I’ve got my eye on a few little  numbers at Alexandra Harper Millinery which opened last month.

Positioned in the middle of one of London’s most fashionable areas, in the historic New River area of Clerkenwell in a Grade II listed building, the boutique is bookended by the William Bennington Gallery and London’s esteemed Sadler’s Wells Theatre, on 25 Arlington Way. Millinery fans can visit the boutique and meet Alexandra by appointment, or by chance.

Visitors to the shop can see headpieces like this oversized PVC bow from the Coleoptera collection, £220,  or the fun floral Pollenate piece for a bit of spring colour.
