BEAUTY: Nails Of The Week – Metallic

This week I decided to have a little fun with this Nails Inc. metallic silver “South Kensington” polish. It looks great in the bottle but I find the consistency isn’t fantastic. It requires a lot of coats to get it looking opaque and even then the brush strokes are quite visible with the reflective nature of metallic colours. It won’t be visiting South Kensington again … Continue reading BEAUTY: Nails Of The Week – Metallic

BEAUTY: Desk SOS With Korres

Earlier in the year I was lucky enough to be gifted some products from the scrumptious Greek beauty brand Korres. A very yummy Guava Body Butter and a lightly tinted Pomegranate Lip Butter. These goodies have never made it home and have become my ultimate office essentials. Like many offices we experience a power battle with the air conditioning which leaves my lips cracking and … Continue reading BEAUTY: Desk SOS With Korres

BEAUTY: Nails Of The Week – Nails Inc George Street

I recently tried a new Nails Inc colour ‘George Street’ which is a light colour somewhere in-between mauve and beige. I used this with Sally Hansen ‘Complete Care’ which was also a first time try. The results were disappointing, I’m unsure which of the products are to blame until I try them separately. I held a bias against George Street to begin with as I … Continue reading BEAUTY: Nails Of The Week – Nails Inc George Street

FASHION: An Audience With David Gandy

Scene: A formal networking evening in London, a calm and collected group are assembled to watch a live interview. They listen patiently and professionally until the interview ends – then make a collective run towards the interviewee, pushing and tripping over each other in their haste, butterflies in their stomachs and a blush on their cheeks. But this not Justin Beiber, nor One Direction, and … Continue reading FASHION: An Audience With David Gandy

FASHION: London Fashion Week Highlights

There may be talk of granny heels and square somber toes, but I was loving the bright patterned shoes in many collections at London Fashion Week. My top picks are these Sophia Webster, Sister By Sibling, and Eugene Lin pairs. Perhaps not a particularly wearable trend, but my second highlight is this sunburn style pink makeup seen at several shows including Corrie Neilson and Ji … Continue reading FASHION: London Fashion Week Highlights

FASHION: London Fashion Week Dairy Day Five

Bright and bold was the tone for Tuesday morning at the Leutton Postle show, with funky prints, tassels and fun takes on geometry. There were also amazing glittertastic shoes! I also finally had the chance to check out some of the exhibitors at Somerset House, and they were just as excellent as their counterparts at Vauxhall. Sophia Webster’s shoes have set my heart all a … Continue reading FASHION: London Fashion Week Dairy Day Five
